World War Word Bank

This lesson, we explored World War Two vocabulary. We watched a World War Two clip three times and wrote down in pencil, on post-its, a range of words to describe what we could see, hear, smell, taste and touch. After this, we went up to the board and took a post-it back to our place. We used a thesaurus to up-level or describe the word further and to investigate a range of vocabulary. Finally, we got in groups and categorised our describing words, making a class Word Bank. We had a lot of discussion this lesson!
