Summer 2 - 1st June 2020

I hope you had a lovely half-term and took advantage of the beautiful weather. Please continue to use ClassDojo to get in touch if you need anything. I will be in school, but get back to you as quickly as possible.

Update - 3rd April 2020

After today's work, there will not be any more set for the following two weeks as this is the Easter break. Thank you to all of you who have sent me work and letting me know how you've been getting on - it's put a smile on my face! I miss you all and hope to see you soon.

Here's a picture of Dexter chilling and hopefully that makes you smile.

Here is a Spring word search for you to try:

1st April 2020

I have added a "word searches" link on this week's Home Learning link for you to try - have fun!

Mrs Vaughan has very kindly collated all of the activities that are available throughout the day and put them into a table with more information. I have attached it below.

The weather is beautiful! If you would like some ideas on what to do whilst being outside, I have put lots of PDFs below. You don't have to do these, but they look very fun!

I hope you are all finding the work okay!

Below is a link to free audio books. Also, David Walliams is releasing a short audio book for free at 11am daily. Hope this helps.

Home Learning.

Over the coming weeks, we will support your learning at home as school is closed to all but a small number of children. On this page, you will find copies of all the paperwork that we sent home with you, and lots of links to web pages that can give you exciting ideas to keep you busy.

You have been given a timetable which suggests how you could split up your day. On this web-page every day you will find a piece of Maths work, an English task and something from  one other subject in the curriculum. I will also make sure that you have a reading task to do, this might be one large task to last a few days or smaller ones about 3 or 4 times per week.

When you have completed the work set for that day, you can use the other ideas to keep you busy, but you should keep up your reading, spelling and times tables practice. I can't wait to hear how well you will have been working.

Answers will be posted on the web page the following day to when the work has been set, so you can see how you got on.

Your daily tasks will be included in the links at the top of this page labelled "Week Commencing..."

If  your grown ups need to contact us to ask for help with anything they can do this through the school office email which is enquiries@scotter.lincs.sch.uk
