12.06.2020 - TT Rockstars and Continuing Yesterday's Tasks

Try and spend some time on TT Rockstars today I have set some more Tournaments for you all to have a go at!

Also, finish any questions from yesterday's task, as there were a fair few questions so I suggested that they were to be spread over a couple of days.

If you do have time, then please go through this week’s learning, concentrating on revising the vocabulary for Angles as well as practising more of the skills we have learnt.

11/12.06.2020 - Calculating angles around a point X2 Day Task

After watching the Video Lesson Clips for today's task, have a go at working through the PowerPoint. Some of the questions on the PowerPoint are very similar to the ones in today’s task, and after each question the answers are explained.

NOTE: Spot the dog in one of the video clips! I think Milo was feeling left out and wanted to learn about angles too! :D

09.06.2020 - Measuring with a protractor

First, have a read through the ‘Using a Protractor’ LINK. Make sure you look at all of the details carefully, as there are X2 sets of numbers on a protractor usually, and it is important that you know which ones to use and when.

Then, have a got at the ‘Using a Protractor Worksheet’. Here, you can measure angles using a protractor, and type in your answers. They can then be checked at the end.

After this, there are another three levels for you to have a go at - try these for extension tasks!

Some of you may have a protractor at home. If you do, then feel free to draw yourself a range of angles and have a go at measuring them once you have completed today's online tasks.

08.06.2020 - Measuring Angles in Degrees

Today's task is all about familiarising yourself with the terminology you will need for your angles learning over the next couple of weeks, as well as looking at the angles we 'already know or use' on a daily basis.

Knowledge Organiser for Properties of Shape - If you have access to a printer, it might be an idea to print this off and stick it into your workbook, as there is a lot of useful information on here for you to refer to.
