Curriculum Focus for Spring Term 2026
- Maths:
- Year 3 – mental calculation, column addition, subtraction and 2,4,8 times table.
- Year 4 – 9 times tables, 7 times tables and patterns, coordinates and fractions
- English – Children will explore a range of genres focusing on writing to entertain and inform based on our topics.
- Science – Do plants live forever?
- Geography – Are there mountains under the sea?
- Computing – What are the benefits of desk top publishing?
- RE – Which religions and worldviews communities can we find in our neighbourhood?
- PE – cricket and gymnastics
- Music – Latin Dance
- D and T – What fastening should I use when creating a book sleeve?
- PSHE – How can I make and keep healthy relationships?
- French – vegetables
