We would like you to create your own balancing parrot this week.
Download the template of the balancing parrot and cut it out. (this would work better on card if you have any)
Lean up against a window (carefully!) and copy the lines onto the other side of the paper.
Attach a blob of blue-tac or a penny to the tail of the bird and balance its claw on your finger. The weight at the bottom should allow the bird to balance there.
Once you have achieved the balance, you can decorate your bird, on both sides.
You could make feathers with tissue paper or craft feathers (if you have them in your craft box!) or use crayons or paints.
