Word Guerrilla Day 2022
What a fantastic experience! David Bowden aka the 'Word Guerrilla' visited us for a day filled with poetry and fun! With a guitar and a loop pedal, he had the children hooked from the moment they stepped into the hall. He described poetry as 'the best words in the best order' and entertained the children with his rhythm, rhyme and humour.
Throughout the day he visited each class and taught them to write their own poetry. The children have been inspired to become poets! Look out for their work or pictures on Class Dojo.
He also commented on what a lovely school Scotter was and complimented the fantastic behaviour of our children and the positive relationships he felt in the school.
